Ok When I got out of the theater, my cheeks were hurting from smiling so damned much. This film has James Cameron written all over it. If you loved TITANIC, it's got a TITANIC vibe to it. It's Titanic meets Aliens, meets high fantasy.

It's extraordinary and the most capitivatingly beautiful film that I've ever seen in my life. Sam Worthington is beyond charming and this should make Zoe Saldana a mega star.

I've loaded a ton of new photos into my Avatar gallery - including a bunch from our main 3 stars that include photoshoots, event photos, and magazine scans. I've found some more event photos also. Hopefully we'll have our US premiere soon so I can spam the gallery with those photos!

So I still haven't watched this week's LEGEND, hence no caps yet. I also haven't yet put up Xmas decorations which, frankly is a bigger priority at the moment. I did start housecleaning tonight which is the precursor to getting it decorated.

Instead I spent tonight 1/2 watching TV 1/2 snoozing as my sister blasted through HOURS of Talk show TV looking for cast interviews for AVATAR, It's Complicated, and Have you heard about the Morgans?

We caught a blip of Zoe Saldana on KTLA, Giovanni Rabisi on WPIX - which was hilarious he was totally 1/2 asleep during the whole thing all of the while complaining about how early it was, James Cameron on the Today Show, Zoe Saldana on David Letterman, and Giovanni again on Jimmy Fallon. Bonus we got Adam Lambert on Conan. There were assorted Hugh Grant interviews, etc.

The Cameron interview was awesome. They asked him about AVATAR being kind of a "girly" film. He shrugged and said that all of his films are chick flicks, "Even Terminator was a chick flick, it was one big love story." He mentioned how much he just loves writing strong, independent, fully realized female characters. I love his philosophy about filmmaking, he doesn't make films for the studios, he makes them for himself and for movie viewers. He quoted going to films like STAR WARS as being his huge inspirations for going into film making :) No worries about it bombing at the BO Jim, it's going to make a fortune.

Zoe on Dave was actually adorable. She'd never been on there before and Dave actually was Mr. Smooth. He asked her about Star Trek and then said "So why should people go to see this movie other than to see you again?" LOL! It was hilarious, I never see Dave react to ANYTHING when guests came on but they showed a scene w/ Neytiri and Jake and the fabulousness of the CGI and when they cut back to him, Dave's eyes were popped out and he drooled "That was AMAZING." Shockingly it might've been the best interview that I've seen w/ him in eons, Dave overall sucks. Zoe used to do ballet which explains why she's whippet thin and lean. I just love Zoe, she was on that women of power panel at Comic Con and she was SO well spoken, honest, earnest, and articulate. Elizabeth Mitchell immediately got a girl crush on her.

Cameron was supposed to be on Leno tonight but he wasn't on it...looks like he was still in NY. I compiled a list of AVATAR cast appearances over on SCS. You can peruse them all HERE!

ONLY THREE DAYS UNTIL THE MIDNIGHT SHOW! To celebrate I made my own version of Neytiri's choker to wear to the premiere. It's a bit larger than a choker and my tying skills were a little lacking (I haven't done thread tying since I made friendship bracelets in Jr. High - I was pretty impressed that I even remembered what to do in hindsight - that was 1/2 a lifetime ago) but it came out alright. I'll be a geek and wear it to work on Thursday :)
